In culture, religion and politics, the leaders often seem compliant with the will of the few rich and powerful rather than the people, the truth, justice, or the common good. How did this happen? 16% of American adults, over 40 million people, support President Trump using the U.S. military to suppress protests against his agenda.
25%, over 60 million, support using force to prevent Trump from being president.
Both have doubled since September 2025.
